The proud opening act consists of both formal and relaxed touches (stone veneer, custom iron work, and portico) punctuated by relaxed and whimsy splashes (landscape, spiral topiary, and curved architectural elements.) creating the low/high brow aesthetics that the client was craving. Designer even went as far as personally planting topiaries and citrus trees for the client!

The far right column is an existing load-bearing post, while the far left is a faux column added for symmetry. The door header was raised to align with the top of the glass windows across the front, and to allow an 84” door. The clients are both tall and wanted to walk into a wine room, not feel as if they had to crouch to enter a wine cave.
The entrance to the cellar is secured via a keypad on the doorknob. The view beyond alerts visitors that this is the place to store, sip and share. À votre santé!

A unobstructed line of sight from kitchen to great room and beyond allows the space to feel airy and open with the help of raised ceilings and larger windows. Minimalistic furnishings keep the room from becoming too fussy and a trio of globe lights instead of a single chandelier provides modern illumination for dining and tasks. The glass-walled office at the left means kids can color at the table while mom clicks away at the computer, without being in each other’s way, but still right at hand. The office door slides shut for more private conversations and to alleviate television noise.

We Poured on the Porcelain in this kitchen remodel. Our kitchen is worry free for staining and etching. The durability of porcelain is amazing. We utilized both 6mm and 12mm thickness of slabs. This kitchen utilized 7 slabs. The cabinetry is laminate with a lifetime warranty- using a textured overlay for the island and refrigerator door. LED highlights the hood and backsplash perfectly. The clean modern lines with a timeless color palette make this new area open to the family room for a great room feel in San Francisco.

The clients, whom had recently moved from a harsher climate, wanted to make a conscientious decision to appreciate a true indoor/outdoor living experience. An outdoor living space that could be used day or night was a firm requirement. This living room, with Ratana furnishings and a linear fire table, filled the need with elegance and ease. Filtered shade from the trellis keeps the sun from getting too intense without obstructing views of the night sky. The clients, keeping true to their promise, use the space every day and every night. Not only does the new fencing richly add to the curb appeal outside, it adds dimension and interest to the interior of the yard, as well.

A stunning cabana coaxes all ages to come out and play! The goal was to create an inviting space that was open and welcoming, yet still produced a good measure of cachet. Whether pushing a stroller or using a walker, the structure needed to be universally accommodating and ready to use for both day and night. Making sure there were various seating arrangements to assist with social distancing during the pandemic was a must. The result is a classy and comfortable cabana that offers something for everyone to enjoy.
